Ordering and comparing large numbers. Counting in powers of 10. Rounding.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calculations <\/strong>\u2013 Square and cube numbers. Multiples, factors and prime numbers. Written multiplication and division.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fractions, Decimals and Percentages <\/strong>\u2013 Ordering fractions. Multiplying fractions. Ordering and comparing decimals. Percentages as fractions and decimals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Measurement <\/strong>\u2013 Metric and imperial units. Perimeter. Area. Estimating volume and capacity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Geometry <\/strong>\u2013 Properties of 3D shapes, Angle rules. Polygons. Reflection and translation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Statistics <\/strong>\u2013 Line graphs. Time and timetables.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>(Detailed curriculum of the topics\u00a0will be available at the tuition centre.)<\/p>\n<p>Your child will be given a piece of homework to complete each week. \u00a0This will be a combination of both a\u00a0re-cap from the lesson and a random times table worksheet. \u00a0It will be a double sided A4 sheet and it is very important for your child to complete this on their own. \u00a0Any areas they find difficult and not able to do on their own will then be re-addressed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Class Size:\u00a0Up to\u00a06 \u00a0(Classes are limited to Maximum of 6 students.)
