An additional \u00a35 per term will be added for resources and materials.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to expect:-<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We cover the following topics in line with the Key Stage 3 curriculum over the period while your child is in Year 7.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Baseline\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 <\/strong>Checking understanding of topics from Year 6.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Number<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; \u00a0 Understanding measures. Rounding and estimating. Integers and decimals, including negative numbers. Fractions and equivalence. Order of operations (BIDMAS). Powers, squares and roots.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ratio and proportion\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 <\/strong>Simplifying and sharing a ratio into a quantity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Algebra<\/strong> \u00a0&#8211; \u00a0Collecting like terms. Multiplying and dividing expressions. Expanding single brackets. Factorising expressions. Sequences.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Statistics\u00a0 <\/strong>&#8211;\u00a0 Frequency tables. Line, pie and bar charts. Scatter graphs.
